Question by Mike R: Question about age on Royal Caribbean?
I’m an 18 year old going on Royal Caribbean’s Freedom of the Seas in the summer, and from previous experience I had a lot of fun in the teen clubs, however I will no longer be able to join in the teen club activities because I am above the age limit. So i was wondering if anyone has ever been on a Royal Caribbean cruise when they were 18, 19, or 20, and describe your experience.

Question by NickSings81: Do I have to pay state taxes while working on a cruise ship?
It’s almost tax time and I am a bit paranoid about if I have done my taxes correctly. In 2006 I worked for two cruise lines. The first was Royal Caribbean and I am not currently working for NCL America. While working for Royal, they only took out federal tax. I assumed since it was a international ship ( but american company ) that was the reason I did not have state taxes taken out. Now working for NCLA they were taking out Hawaii state taxes but I got that stopped since I’m not a resident here. My legal residence is in the state of Virginia. I am paranoid now that I owe all this money from years back. Should I wait for them to contact me or should I just start paying VA taxes now? I am looking for more factual replys and not just oppion. Much thanks1
